Rustic Charm Meets Laid-Back Cool

Sacred Mountain isn't your grandma's wedding venue (though she'd totally love it too!). It's got this incredible blend of rustic charm and relaxed elegance. The main lodge feels like a WARM HUG, all cozy wood and inviting vibes. And don't even get me started on the main lodge - it's like it was built for Instagram, with those dreamy string lights that make everyone look like a movie star.

This venue is packed with diverse spaces, whether you're going for boho chic or vintage glam, Sacred Mountain's got your back. It's a blank canvas just waiting for you to make your mark.

A Wedding That Screamed "US"

Now, let me tell you about a recent wedding that had me grinning behind my camera ALL DAY LONG! This couple? They took the whole "make it your own" thing and ran with it!

They went for this killer 50's vintage lover aesthetic, but with a twist that was pure them - carefree, fun, and oh-so-cool. It was like stepping into a time machine, but one that was powered by love and pizza.

Details, Details, Details

Talk about attention to detail! These lovebirds thought of everything. They had a coffee bar and candy station, both sporting their new shared last name. It was CUTE OVERLOAD!

But the real tearjerker? They wrote individual letters to each guest. I'm not crying, you're crying! It was this beautiful way of saying "Hey, thanks for being part of our story." Cue the waterworks!

And get this - they served pizza at their fancy-pants reception. YIPPY for breaking traditions! It was the perfect blend of high-class and down-home, just like the couple themselves.

Capturing The Magic

Sacred Mountain is a photographer's playground, and this couple knew it. We had a blast exploring all the views of the venue, creating portraits that were equal parts vintage glam and carefree cool. There were many happy tears ALLL DAY and as a photographer I would so much rather be editing out tear streaks from the brides than having the photos to be perfect that there are no tears at all.

The first look? Oh my heart! It was like watching two puzzle pieces finally come together. And don't even get me started on the creative poses these two came up with. It was like they were born in the wrong era, but found their way back just for these photos!!

Timeless Moments With Film Photography

I've been shooting weddings and elopements on both film and digital for years now, and there's something SPECIAL about film photography! It offers a timeless quality that digital sometimes can't replicate! It's just incredibly romantic and authentic about the grain, the color, and the overall feel of film. Plus, the process itself—waiting for the film to be developed—adds an element of anticipation and excitement. When you look back at your wedding photos, you’ll see not just the moments, but the emotions, the atmosphere, and the unique beauty of your day!
